Delete your account

You can delete your Domini account, and all the data linked to it, in two ways: from within the app or by email.

From the app

Open the Profile tab (person icon in the bottom bar).
Tap the gear icon at the top to open Settings.
In the Account section, tap Delete account.
Read the warning and tap Yes, delete my account.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. The app then returns to the sign-in screen.

By email

If you can't access the app, send an email to eduardo@domini.global with the subject "Delete account", preferably from the email address registered in Domini. We may ask for confirmation to make sure the request comes from the account owner. The account is deleted within 30 days of the request, and you get a reply once the deletion is complete.

What is deleted

Sign-in data: email and password.
Profile: name, username, short bio, date of birth and profile photo.
Usage history: completed and favorite readings, Liturgy of the Hours prayers, points, day streak, medals and badges, progress in the Paths.
Notes: daily reflections, Bible bookmarks and notes.
Linked parish and check-ins.
Social data: who you follow, who follows you, blocks, nudges, profile visits and notifications.

What is kept

No data from your account is intentionally kept after deletion. Automatic database backups made by our hosting provider (Supabase) may contain this data for a limited period, until they are replaced by newer backups. They are not used to restore deleted accounts.
